New Building and New Technology!

Welcome back everyone. It is exciting to be in a brand new building and with it comes some new technology. Every classroom has a Promethean Activ9 Panel and training is set for Wednesday morning on the 14th of August. This session will get you set up with your Promethean account, Google sync and basic tools usage. If you would like to get a jump on things check out their training website. 

1. Sign into your Promethean Account at the top right using your CCPS Google account to access the videos.
2. Open the sub menu on your account screen by clicking the 4 square icon at the top left.
3. Then select "Learn Promethean" from the drop down menu.

  

Tools for Teachers

Tools and Templates are provided for teachers to use in the classroom.  There are tools for classroom management, warm ups, small group activities and more. Included are videos that show how to use the resource.

for Educators

 Original animated videos, coupled with questions and resources, make up educational TED-Ed Lessons.

Use TedEd to determine what students already know, practice, or as an exit activity. Numerious video lessons are already created and ready to use or you can create your own. Show the video, go through the multiple choice questions and finish with short answer responses. Lessons and collections are orginized by subject and have multiple filter options.
